Problems with The AutoCamp Booking System

We’re trying to book one of the 2 Best AutoCamp Deals for Spring and Summer 2023, and we’re finding some problems with the AutoCamp booking system.

We recently reported that AutoCamp is about to change booking software to accommodate the planned rapid growth to open up 100 AutoCamp locations. That new softer is needed now.

Pricing Problem – Step By Step

First, we’re checking the rates for September 11 – 14 (3 nights) on AutoCamp.com, both desktop and mobile for a 3 night stay at AutoCamp Zion. Note the prices:
$351 on the 11th
$359 on the 12th
$311 on the 13th
Checking out on the 14th.

Next, we enter the code we reviewed in our 2 Best AutoCamp Deals for Spring and Summer 2023 article we just published: NPRT15 .

We clicked SEARCH, and here is what we found:

These are the 2 lowest price accommodations. WHAT? How is this possible? $362? But it was no higher than $359 for a night – and as low as $311 for a night – on the previous screen, before the 15% discount code.

I checked the details, maybe they’ve put in all the taxes and fees now? NO…

Now, all 3 nights are HIGHER than prior to the 15% discount! How is this possible?

Clearly, there are problems with the AutoCamp booking system. I’m going to reach out to AutoCamp to find out what this is about.

Calendar Problems

The images above, are all using the BOOK NOW button on the top right, on a laptop:

However, if you choose the calendar lower in that image, you do not see prices by date:

On mobile, you only get one BOOK NOW and it functions like the better option from desktop – it shows prices:

Conclusion

Be sure to use the top BOOK NOW button to make sure you see the prices when you’re looking at dates.
