AutoCamp Asheville Partial Opening
Whiplash!
Less than 3 weeks after being told there was “no opening date at this time,” and the calendar being fully blocked out all the way into 2026, AutoCamp has announced the AutoCamp Asheville Partial Opening. Reservations are being taken for stays beginning November 13, 2025.
AutoCamp Asheville Partial Opening – Surprise!
On July 3, 2025, we called AutoCamp Asheville about the lack of availability to book ANYTHING at ANY time – even well into 2026. This was in spite of their own calendar saying it “Opens Sept. 2025.”

Now, July 22, guess what? The AutoCamp website is updated, along with the calendar, stating that “AutoCamp Asheville (Opens Nov 2025), and sure enough, the calendar shows availability starting November 13, 2025.
Our contacts at the public relations company that AutoCamp employs have stopped replying to our questions. It’s possible AutoCamp may have switched companies. But, we contacted reservations via the AutoCamp chat window and were told that there will be a “soft opening” for November.
When we questioned what that meant, we were told it would, in fact, be a partial opening, with the full opening happening in February.
Unfortunately, we cannot go in November or December, in part because of our trip to AutoCamp Yosemite and AutoCamp Sequoia! However, we’ll be able to get there in the spring when it’s fully open to do our review, cover news, and share tips!
AutoCamp Asheville Partial Opening – Hats off to Asheville
We are so very, very happy for both AutoCamp and the local Asheville community that AutoCamp Asheville is starting to open! We have friends and family in the Asheville area, and that community has been hit so very hard since the devastating hurricane that delayed the opening of AutoCamp Asheville last year. We wish AutoCamp and the Asheville Community nothing but the best, and we will be there to support both in the spring! In the meantime, we’ll cover any news that comes our way.
