Looking for the best AutoCamp coupon code or promotion? A new AutoCamp promotion has a pretty impressive discount going on right now. It’s dropping prices by about 20% off their regular rates.

So what’s the catch? What are the details?

Not combining and not applying to existing reservations is standard. No surprise, and we don’t blame them. Same thing for date parameters. All standard for promotions.

SO… let’s see these rates in action.

We just booked a one night stay in Cape Cod. Yeah, yeah, just one night. The reality is we live less than 2 hours away, and we’ve been to AutoCamp Cape Cod, so we know what we’re looking for on a repeat visit (more on that in an article coming soon).

This is November 8 – 11 at Asheville without the promo:

As you can see, it’s not exactly apples to apples. The discount was applied to the “AutoCamp Web Rate,” not the “Advance Purchase Rate.” Personally, that doesn’t bother me. I don’t like to be handcuffed by an uncancellable booking. There are too many variables in life for me to take that risk.

So, that’s a $100 discount per night off the $422 rate, making a 23.7% discount. Very nice promotion, AutoCamp! However, it’s not exactly the $199 Airstream that the AutoCamp promotion tempts us with. How do we find those rates?

How to Get a $159 Tent or $199 Airstream

First, go to the AutoCamp homepage and pick your location:

Then, click the BOOK NOW button on the top right.

There, you can scroll through the calendar and find the best rate per date.

Input the promotion code Adventure2024 and click APPLY.

Example, here is October through November:

Nope…no $159 Tents or $199 Airstreams to be found.

So where are they?
We did some hunting and pecking for you and found that you can find Airstreams for under $199, actually, in November and December in AutoCamp Cape Cod and AutoCamp Catskills and AutoCamp Zion. AutoCamp Joshua Tree has some for $154 in early December!

As for the best Tent deal, they are few and far between. I found one night in AutoCamp Catskills in October. Keep in mind, the colder locations take away their tents in winter.

The “Amenity Fee”

If I could wave a magic wand and have AutoCamp follow one bit of advice, it would be DO AWAY WITH THE “AMENITY FEE.” It’s now up to $35 PER NIGHT for

Breakfast granola, craft coffee, and tea, welcome drink, and daily refreshments.

WiFi Internet.

Beach towels.

Cruiser bicycles, lawn games, and board games. (Seasonal and weather dependent, available on a first-come, first-serve basis. See more below.)**

Weekly onsite events and programming (yoga, live music sessions, fireside chats).

Two years ago, the Amenity Fee was $25. This is a bad look for AutoCamp, and if they are serious about getting prices down, they should start with ditching the Amenity Fee.

Conclusion: AutoCamp Promotion and Coupon Codes

AutoCamp does a few promotions a year. Their biggest are around Black Friday. This is a pretty darn good promotion going on right now. We’ll likely take advantage of it as we approach November. We’re hoping prices come down even more as we prepare to go visit and review AutoCamp Asheville.
