AutoCamp Hill Country Texas Delayed to 2025
UPDATES!
AutoCamp Asheville is further delayed. They are now not opening until late June 2024.
AutoCamp Sequoia isn’t opening until late October!
Well this was surprising and sad to see – AutoCamp Hill Country, which is located in southeast Texas, is yet again delayed, this time until 2025.
We have been documenting the 4 new AutoCamp locations that were announced in on July 26, 2022, AutoCamp announced there would be 4 new locations opened in 2023. They have delayed all but one (Zion) repeatedly. Now, they’re delaying AutoCamp Hill country once again.
We have inquired as to the delay, but no details have been shared.
Our 2024 AutoCamp Trip Plans
AutoCamp Asheville opens May 15. Due to other travel plans, we will be visiting in the fall, likely early November. It’s a great time of year to visit Asheville. The autumn colors should be beautiful!
AutoCamp Sequoia is scheduled to open “Mid-2024”. We are hoping those dates are announced sooner rather than later. We have been waiting to visit AutoCamp Yosemite until Sequoia opened since will only be approximately 2 1/2 hours apart. We are hoping to make this trip in very early September so we will be behind the summer crowds.
We’re starting to look at airports that will be most convenient to both locations. Fresno-Yosemite International is most convenient to both Yosemite National Park and Sequoia National Park.
Obviously, Hill Country won’t be happening until 2025, once it opens. Beginning in ’25, we’ll also begin to re-visit some locations to see how things have changed, evolved, and matured.
