AutoCamp Zion Campsite Locations
We recently stayed at beautiful AutoCamp Zion. It’s one the larger AutoCamp locations, and of course, some locations are better than others. Should you pay to upgrade to a Premium or Vista location? What’s the clubhouse and pool like? Where’s the playground? We’ll cover every AutoCamp Zion campsite location to help you decide.

As you saw in the video, some sites are far better and more private than others. Let’s break this down:
101 – 105 are X Suites. As much as we love them, we wouldn’t necessarily recommend them at AutoCamp Zion unless you’re there during bad weather: rain, cold, or snow. And yes, Virgin, Utah does get bad weather.
One of the many benefits of X Suites is you can cook indoors. AutoCamp Airstreams don’t let you do cook indoors, and if it’s raining, snowing, or freezing out, you’ll be wanting to cook in your X Suite.
Those locations, 101 – 105, are Classic Accessible X Suites. Classic means the location isn’t the best. Accessible means it has a ramp for wheelchairs, roll in showers with a bench.
Locations 106 – 110 are not labeled Classic, but they are. They are not accessible.
These locations are ok. Not great – they’ll be a bit noisy because so many people will be walking past you to get to their campsites. However, they back to the hills, so these are ok locations.
Have a look at the X Suites at AutoCamp Zion:
201 – 205 are Classic Airstreams. You won’t get much privacy, and like 101 – 110, you’ll have noise.
110 – 113 are great locations – except for the septic smell coming from the septic tanks by 204 – 205. They back up to the big hills and the river (but you can’t see the river from here).

301 – 306 are Classic Airstreams are a terrific deal. You’re facing the lawn rather than being sandwiched between campsites, and they’re not charging for Premium or Vista prices.
206 – 212 are ok. You’re sandwiched between 301 – 306 and and also 116 – 224.
213 – 215 are Basecamps – Airstreams plus a tent. Note: you can’t rent just a tent at AutoCamp Zion. These are cheaper than 114 – 123 because 114 – 123 backup to the river and mountain, so it has a more outdoorsy, private feel.
NOTE: you can actually access the river by 123/124.
A point about Basecamps: they have the potential to be very loud. They accommodate larger parties – 8+ people. Larger parties = louder noise. You’ll want to avoid being the Basecamps if you want to minimize your exposure to noise.

Third AutoCamp Zion Campsite Locations Section
The campsites in this area vary. 216 – 219 are Classic Airstreams because they are not very private. 401, 402, and 409 – 412 are also Classics. 409 – 411 could easily be Premium level like 403 – 408. Those are a good deal. Personally, I don’t think I’d pay more for 403 – 408, but they do back up to open land. However, considering you’re always facing other Airstreams, I’m not sure I’d pay the difference.
Fourth AutoCamp Zion Campsite Locations Section
What we have here are almost all Classic Airstreams. They’re all quite good with the exception of 226, which is right near the playground. Also, as you can see, there is 1 Premium Airstream, 506, and 1 Premium Basecamp, 507.
AutoCamp Zion Campsite Locations Conclusion
AutoCamp Zion is a terrific AutoCamp that is off to a great start. The campsites will become more private with time as the vegetation grows. The best locations are, of course, the ones that are not sandwiched between other campsites. The periphery locations are the best, of course, to minimize exposure to other campsites. Keep in mind that the Premium Basecamps have some of the best campsites on the property, but they tend to be noisy with bigger groups at each campsite.
Reminder: you can’t book a specific site, but you can certainly request sites or locations. We encourage you to do so.
