AutoCamp Locations and Property Descriptions

AutoCamp Founder and CEO Neil Dipaola said earlier in 2022, there are 15 new properties in the works on top of the first 5 locations: Catskills, Cape Cod, Joshua Tree, Yosemite, Zion. AutoCamp plans to have locations within a half day’s drive of the top 25 major metro areas across the U.S. Let’s look at the existing locations and descriptions, planned locations, their sizes, and what they’ll offer.

AutoCamp Accomodations

For those not familiar, AutoCamp offers several types of accommodations. Be sure to familiarize yourself with not only the type of accommodation, but the level of accommodation. You’ll pay for “Premium” and “Vista,” but it’s not always worth it! Read about the levels.

  • Custom Airstreams (open year ’round)
  • X Suites *sometimes* CALLED CABINS!!! (open year ’round – our recommendation for fall/winter)
  • Luxury Tents (not available year ’round)
  • Basecamps (a “teepee” – or regular – style tent added to the Airstreams to make the kids sleep in tent)
  • Cabins hold the most people, in part because of bunks. They are not offered at all locations. See below to see who has them.

AutoCamp Locations and Property Descriptions

AutoCamp Asheville

Fiiiinnnnaaaalllly opened, 3 years after the initial projected opening date – AutoCamp Asheville!

12.46 acre property was purchased in May 2021. AutoCamp Asheville was hit extremely hard by Hurricane Milton just a month or so before opening causing many delays. Originally scheduled for 2023, it was going to open in 2024, but due to Hurricane Helene, as early as July 2025, it was supposed to open Sep 1 2025! Now, the entire calendar is *not available*. 67 total “accommodations”:

The property features 67 accommodations, including:

  • 51 Airstreams (initially scheduled for 55)
  • 6 Bambi Airstreams (these are very small!)
  • 4 Base Camps (an Airstream plus a canvas tent(
  • 6 cabins (4 ADA accessible)

The property features:

  • a Clubhouse, the social hub of AutoCamp Asheville, which houses the Kitchen and General Store
  • a plunge pool
  • robust on-site programming, including on-site yoga, live music, indoor movie nights, and family-friendly game nights.

AutoCamp Cape Cod

Opened early 2021. Make reservations.

150 campsite location that is not official in a very unusual AutoCamp location!

AutoCamp Napa

AutoCamp is working hard to open a property in Napa, CA – very near there Russian River (Sonoma) location.

AutoCamp Russian River

Opened 2016 (first AutoCamp). Make reservations.

Note, this is the first AutoCamp to have opened. It’s also the smallest in terms of both acres and number of Airstreams. NO X Suites.

AutoCamp Saugatuck

AutoCamp Sequoia
